Transferring securities to the St. Vincent de Paul Society is easily accomplished electronically.
You can make donations via phone or fax.

You may also instruct your banker or broker to make arrangements for the transfer with SVDP's Account Manager at Merrill
Lynch. You should not send securities to a transfer agent for transfer into the Society's name.
To transfer an actual stock certificate that is registered in your name, you may print the
Irrevocable Stock or Bond Power Form. If you send your
donated stock certificate(s) to Merrill Lynch, the certificate(s) must be accompanied by a letter
to Merrill Lynch stating that you are relinquishing ownership of the certificate for deposit to the
Society of St. Vincent de Paul account.
You should also send to Merrill Lynch, under separate cover,
the signed stock or bond power, with your signature guaranteed by a bank or broker.
