Your gift, whether large or small, whether financial or in-kind, can make a tremendous difference in the lives of people in need who are either Hurricane evacuees or those in need from our own communities in the Dallas metropolitan area. None of the good works accomplished by St. Vincent de Paul volunteers and its members would be possible without the support of people who share in the belief that a small kindness can make a big difference in the life of someone in need. Thank you!
The St. Vincent de Paul Thrift Store finally had its grand opening in September.
Located on Northwest Highway at Bachman Lake, the SVDP Thrift Store offers clothing,
furniture, and other household items at affordable prices. In the future, the store will also serve
as a community center for the surrounding neighborhood by providing outreach services like
ESL, vocational training, and other enrichment courses for all ages.
All of the store’s merchandise is donated and will be available to those in need or will be sold at the thrift store.
All proceeds will be used to fund the local Vincentian mission, which is helping the needy so that
they may live in dignity. The store gladly accepts gently used clothing, furniture, and household items.
Please call 214-373-SVDP (7837) to schedule a pickup or
email donation@svdpthrift.org
Volunteers are also a big need. With volunteer shifts available Monday – Friday, 9 am to 4 pm., teenagers, adults,
or even big groups are encouraged to come out and help! For more information, call 214-373-SVDP (7837) or
email volunteer@svdpthrift.org.
