The Council is a registered member of the Dallas, Collin, Denton and North Texas Voluntary Agencies Active in Disaster.
When disasters strike, such as the recent flooding in Gainesville and Sherman, St. Vincent de Paul works with other community partners
to help alleviate the suffering of the disaster victims. The Council's role is to provide new household items and case management to families
referred by the Red Cross and Emergency Management Services. As a Second Responder during times of Disaster, SVDP is covered under the Stafford Act.

We need your help! Please donate as much as you can of the following items (new only, please) to support the disaster relief, recovery, and rebuilding efforts of those impacted by Hurricanes Gustav and Ike:

- hand sanitizer
- adult diapers
Goods can be delivered to our office at 10500 Steppington Drive Suite 251 Dallas, TX 75230 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday—Friday.
