In the last few months, St. Joseph Conference members have participated in the SVdP Giving Weekend in Richardson, and welcomed new parishioners at the New Parishioners Quarterly Breakfast. On Ozanam Sunday (last Sunday of April), Conference members attend mass together and gather for a celebration. This is the third year that the Conference celebrates Ozanam Sunday together.
Love thy neighbor is at the heart of what we do at the Society of St. Vincent de Paul. We believe in the dignity of each person; we are called to honor their dignity in our actions. When our neighbors fall on hard times, we’re here to help, regardless of income, color, creed or circumstance. We serve our neighbors not because they are Catholic, but because we are.
We meet bi-monthly in a prayerful setting of friendship to discuss providing Christ’s love to the poor and those in need.
