Volunteers for our programs work with our team members in a variety of ways, either serving in groups or individually, for as many hours as they can and want to.
Volunteers can engage in short-term projects such as supporting donation drives, sorting of materials, landscaping, or data entry. Or they can engage in ongoing and consistent work in the pharmacy, providing neighbor intake assistance at the St Vincent Center and so much more.
While its not required, many volunteers commit to membership in one of our local conferences (chapters). These Society members, called Vincentians, gather on a regular basis for spiritual growth, friendship and service. Teams of two make home visits and provide emotional, spiritual and material support to their neighbors in need.
Making home visits is a beautiful, life-changing, and sometimes difficult ministry. Our conferences provide fellowship, ongoing spiritual support, retreats and training opportunities for Vincentians in order to help them help others.
Our mission is to provide life-changing support to individuals and families in need, offering resources that bring stability and hope. Together, we can prevent homelessness, feed the hungry, and create sustainable futures.
