The St. Rita Conference held an annual Christmas event, in which they provided toys, pointsettas, and more to families in need. This past year, they served more than 90 families and 230+ kids. They have a traditional “store” mode, where they set up a room in the parish building with toys and then parents come in and choose for their children. They involve the whole St. Rita community, including the school students and others volunteers. They also regularly receive assistance – cash and helping hands – from the St. Rita Knights of Columbus and the St. Rita Dad’s Club.

The St. Rita St. Vincent de Paul ministry helps the needy within our parish boundaries. When an individual or family requests assistance in paying rent, utilities or other necessities, two members of the Society visit their homes and determine their need. The group maintains the parish food pantry for supplying food to those in need. Additionally, volunteers are needed for communications, computer, and organizational tasks. We typically meet Thursday evenings at 6:00 p.m. New volunteers are always needed and welcome!  Want to learn more?  Just complete the form below and someone from our ministry will reach out to you with more information about what's involved.Listen below to a few of our St. Rita parishioners as they describe the work and needs of our chapter.
