SVdP supports entire families on their journey to self-sufficiency, now and for the future through our StudyTime program. Through afterschool tutoring and mentorship, StudyTime builds a foundation for success in the classroom, as well as independence and stability later in life.
For many struggling students, math and reading skills aren’t the only obstacle to overcome. Bilingual, certified facilitators also provide wraparound services for parents too, including assistance in navigating the educational system.
StudyTime is proud to offer a scholarship program for secondary and post-secondary education. Recipients are empowered to accomplish their dreams with financial support for tuition and other expenses.
Tutors assist students with homework and activities at one of our locations, from 4-6pm, 1-2 days each week.
High School students are welcome to volunteer as tutors, and you may volunteer as an individual or in groups!
Supporting children in their education stops the generational cycle of poverty. A gift of $100 covers a year of StudyTime costs for one family. Make a gift now to change a life!
You can support StudyTime financially with contributions to enable us to purchase school supplies and subject enrichment programs to help our students be as successful as possible. In-kind donations of things like school supplies and PPE help to defray the costs of the program. Info soon to come!
